The Questions

Good to know.

The things students and parents ask us most. Still curious?

[email protected]
What is SmartWit?

A voice-first AI tutor that hears your student, reads their whiteboard, and teaches by talking and drawing alongside them, like a patient tutor sitting beside them. It teaches Algebra 1 and Geometry, following the sequence US high schools use.

How much does it cost?

Two plans. Scholar is $39/month with generous usage for everyday practice; Mentor is $119/month with 3× the usage, higher-quality voices, and a 1-on-1 counseling session every two weeks. Early-bird pricing is live right now: $29 and $99. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and paying yearly gets you two months free.

What happens after the 7-day free trial?

Nothing until you say so — no card is charged during the trial. If you continue, you're billed at your plan's rate; if you don't, it simply stops.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account in a couple of clicks — you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. No phone call, no retention conversation, nobody to convince.

Which courses are included?

Algebra 1 and Geometry are open now, and both are included in either plan, so a student can switch between them or work across both. Algebra 2 is being built and isn't open yet.

One subscription, two kids?

One student per subscription. Mastery tracking is per-student, and two learners sharing an account scrambles the estimate that decides what each of them works on next.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. SmartWit runs on the web, iOS, and Android, so you can learn on a laptop, phone, or tablet. Handwriting works best with a touchscreen or stylus.

What's actually in the Mentor session?

Thirty minutes with a real counselor who has read the session summaries since you last spoke. They look at where the work actually is, name the two or three things worth attacking next, and agree the plan for the coming two weeks. The AI handles the practice; a person handles the strategy.

How do streaks work?

Study at least a little each day to keep your streak alive. Miss a single day and a streak freeze can quietly save it; you get a couple each week.

Can my parent see my progress?

Yes. Sessions can be replayed and clipped to share, and progress is tracked topic by topic so a parent can follow along.

The last word

Ready to learn out loud?

Speak, draw, and get unstuck, with a tutor that draws right back.
